After the first time I verified my student status, YouTube music and YouTube do not let me subscribe the student plan. In addition, it keeps asking to verify my student status and I verified again and again.
It said I have already verified.
Of course I knew, but your website doesnt let me subscribe the student plan And I tried family plan, it immediately let me subscribe and turn on the auto-pay function. So is there any problem about my student status or the student plan is fake?

All I can say is that it is now going on a month when I was told that I was granted a refund of 16.99 for a family music premium plan that I had canceled that still got processed to my account even though I tried for 3 days straight to contact them through email and could not find any direct phone number to get in contact to make sure that these fees would not be processed. Finally after weeks of contacting them they get back to me with not even the answer I needed they just said Yes you're YouTube premium music account has been canceled.
I didn't ask them if it had been canceled I was already aware of it being canceled Then I have to wait another 3 or 4 days to get back an email saying no problem we have granted you a refund of 1699 it will take 3 to 10 business days. Then after 2 weeks go by I'm still contacting them asking where it is and they said please be patient we are still processing this refund.
I just don't like being treated like I'm some piece of garbage when it comes to my financial portfolio yet they have billions of dollars and can't even process a simple refund when one of their associates has told someone for multiple weeks that they have granted it. They really need to get their customer service together with how much money they get paid from us consumers

If I could give less than one, I would for this review. I've never struggled trying to cancel a subscription in my life the way I have with this one.
Now I have to cancel the card through my bank and get a new one. This is craziness.

Login issues
Got a new phone. It said I could access my account. Made two new accounts and each time it logged me out saying I dont have access : I dont want to get multiple charges
They booked in free trial
they asked me if i want to try a 1month free trial, and when i clicked yes they instantly booked from bank account.
Poor customer service
Cannot talk to customer service regarding my YouTube music. Have had problems with this service for years, have been band aiding to resolve issues. Need to talk to a human!!!

I have had a YouTube Music account in the past and held it for about 6 months and then decided I didn't really need it that bad so I canceled it. Then another charge came again so I tried canceling it through Google and then it showed up as inactive.
Well once again, there's my monthly charge for $11.89 as recent as just last week.
That's at least 3 months now of service I paid for that I did not order, do not need, and do not want. I actually had to cancel one of my credit cards today completely and close the account to prevent any future charges from YouTube Music/Google.
User's recommendation: Do not order any subscriptions from YouTube anything especially YouTube music
